Tagged! 5 things you didn’t know about me

1. I separate food by the layers
I can't even remember the last time I ate a piece of sushi by itself. OK. Unless I'm being watched by others, that is. Somehow, I just don't understand how people tolerate the contrasting tastes of the fish and the vinegar rice in the same mouthful.
Same goes for sandwiches. I dissect them into the cheese, the ham and the bread. And burgers, definitely. Pick out the pickles, savour them, nibble off the mayonnaise-soaked lettuce, the bread buns come next, and finally, the meat patty goes.
Fried fish fillet - I tease out the soft fleshy insides, leaving the floury crust to the last.
Et cetra, et cetra.
2. I have a fear of heights
Since young. Staircases made from planks, long continuous stairs without landings in between, glass floors, rollercoasters, obstacle course in the army. Yes. I'm always freaked out by them.
3. I'm a closet audio fanatic.
Seriously, who else has such an extensive arsenal of earphones and headphones? Granted, 2 of them don't work anymore, and 4 of them were bundled with various gadgets, but the Sennheiser headphones and Creative isolation earphones are quite expensive. Yikes.
Not to mention my amplifier/DVD player/speakers.
4. I still buy CDs
Well, been buying CDs since a kid of maybe 8 years old. Loved all sorts of popular music since then. Somehow, MP3s don't have the same feel to it. The cover art, the shimmering CD itself, the smell of the inlay booklet, the process of unwrapping the shrinkwrap off a new CD. It's way more magical (and ethical) than torrenting an album. While I admit to being an MP3 addict, they have actually made me discover many new bands I'd never have heard on radio, and yep, I ended up buying more CDs because of that. And the publishing cartels are blaming MP3!
5. I hate to talk about myself
Actually, I just couldn't think of something to write here, so here's a lame one to explain myself.
I tag:
1. Ryan
2. Dunchknow
3. Richie
4. Conghan
5. Jujube
In other words, I insist you do the same 5-things-entry on your own blog and tag another 5 people!

heyhey gono, you know of a good place to get cds? lol. I agree there's nothing like the correct cover art, the correct lyric booklet, the correct song sequence, and all that at once... xD and playing the cd the way its meant to be played by the artist... I cant seem to find a good enough cd shop though. especially with so much new stuff coming out within teh next few months. V.V
