Pasar Malam in Bishan St. 22
Pasar malams are roving night markets, and they really aren't too far off from the night markets in Malaysia. They sell all sorts of assorted stuff.
Fashion accessories such as bags.
Trinkets and household products.
The crowds are huge. Why?
Because of the food, duh!
Foooood.
Especially Ramly burgers, which have been a craze since around 3 years back. How do you tell if a stall is good? By the age of the stall, which is reflected by how worn down the banner is.
Lotsa margarine.
Lotsa egg.
The egg goes around the patties of either fish, chicken or beef. And lotsa mayo and sauce.
Even more sauce. Ow. My poor arteries.
The finished product!
Roti john's a classic, and it's just fried egg and onion on bread. Somehow cameras don't do fried egg well, and it always turns blue-green on the photo. No matter the camera. Or the white balance setting. Ugh.
From another stall - tea eggs!
Didn't taste too good though.
Fried chicken wings!
This one's for the little kids.
There goes my diet and my health.
Yum!
