Thursday recharge
Recharge? NOT.
Woke up way too early at 6am, can't stay asleep. Bloody insomnia. The price I have to pay for murdering that insomnia question in yesterday's exam (Recap: I did quite ok for that question cause I have had personal experience with insomnia a few months back.)
So. What the hell? Went downstairs. A loaf of bread on the table. No milk at home. Nothing proteiny except eggs. I need the protein to keep my muscle mass decent while I still am recovering from this nasty cough and et cetra for now.
Eggs + bread = French toast. Project French toast it was! Quick Google. Recipe: beat the egg with some milk, some salt and soak the bread in the mixtire. Fry it with butter.
Oh shit. No milk. Just made do without. And instead of salt I used a pinch of bicarbonate of soda (NaHCO3 - Agagooga recommends it for beef steak), in the hope that it would fluff up the egg a little.
Literally soaked the wholemeal bread to death cause I love it ueberly eggy. 1 egg's barely enough for 1 slice, so the 2nd slice was just streaked with a little egg.
Turned out quite OK! Except the part where Dad tried to mess things up (too many cooks spoil the broth!) while not looking, with his own take on cooking temperature.
Soggy in the inside, crispy on the outside the way I like it. Topped with real honey. Not the fodder they call Golden Syrup.
Just plopped myself in front of the computer, too lazy to really hit the books yet.
As a final note: all the random stuff I saw online:
1. STOMP's quite bland lately without all the old regulars. But they got a number of new forum categories these days so hopefully it'll perk things up!
2. Richie got his DS. And Elite Beat Agents. Yay! Agents are......GO! Are you ready? 3, 2, 1!
3. Ryan managed to get online for a while using the school computer. Yay! Hope everything's gonna be alright.
4. Urbandictionary is leet.
Dirty Sanchez
Dirty Sanchez with extra gravy
Colonel Lingus
Emo boys kissing
Wood
Wankel Rotary Engine (Richie's fav)
Jiang Zemin (OMG look at the picture)
Goatse (OMGWTFBBQLOL PICTURE)
5. Was listening to Perfect 10 98.7FM and literally fell in love in it after hating it for 3 years! They're really not too bad these days. No longer oblivious to the fans of alternative music, or people who simply just appreciate good music. No more hip-hop-and-RnB-for-the-sake-of-it. They're playing hits from the UK that the old Perfect 10 would never have played.
Used to love Perfect 10 in my secondary school days. The golden era of pop-rock music. Then around year 2002 Power 98 sorta got better and Perfect 10 got worse, then BOTH became crap in around 2004.
Now in 2007: Perfect 10's great again. I gotta admit I love that weekday afternoon show with Dan and Young, they're a crazy fun bunch that can send you guffawing in laughter. And yes, censorship's not too bad these days, with 'penis' being mentioned on air and guess what - Confucius Jokes.
Confucius say, man who eat alot of prunes, get good run for money.
Oh. So. Check these great songs out:
Lemar - Tick Tock
Mika - Grace Kelly
Just Jack - Starz in their Eyes
Britney Spears - Toxic
Yes. It's embarrassing. But Britney's Toxic is actually quite good. Good enough for me never to have noticed that it was a Britney song all these while. Catchy trippy beat, a tune that fits her vocal range just exactly. And the music video's, erm, revealing.
