The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test
The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test's the name of a book chronicling all the drugged-up events of the famous Merry Pranksters, a bunch of hippies who toured around the USA in a VW minibus smattered with all sorts of psychedelic Day-Glo designs.
And so when the crunch came - people who shouldn't be reading my blog doing so - I had to brainstorm for an idea to 1. keep them pesky intruders out.
2. While keeping my audience.
The second part is the hardest part.
Password blogs are obviously out, because, seriously, who really cares a damn about me enough to actually hunt me down to ask?
I could move over, take on a new identity, start off from somewhere else. But I'd lose all my audience except those I manage to tell the new link to!
After some brainstorming: The audience I want to keep out, 2 particular people in fact (and possibly a few more, but that's less of a priority), is not as adept with computers as much of my audience.
So. There. Make it such that you'd need some technical competency to find the blog.
Not everyone's equally handy with computers, so I'm giving out my link on MSN too. And later on tagboards. And for those who can't guess the title (it's especially easy for players of Elite Beat Agents yay) they're free to ask me.
(And to Pkchukiss, I KNOW you're an avid fan of The Wicked so I'm totally expecting you to get your way here by yourself. No clues.)
So, there. The best I can come up with to mitigate the fine balance between keeping the audience I want, and losing the audience I don't want.
Yay now I can blog freely!
